PMO Program Manager

Description

SHL is seeking an experienced Program Manager with proven track record in Project Portfolio Management and PMO implementation and operation.

Your responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in the development of the organization's PMO environment
  • Facilitate implementation of strategic organizational projects aligned with SHL's business goals
  • Key activities include: facilitating the creation, tracking and execution of operational project plans; consulting on and influencing key decisions on projects; developing and maintaining project management best practices; monitoring and analyzing current and proposed processes; contributing to business case development
  • Develop and drive implementation of standards across all aspect project management, e.g., KPI, reporting, documentation, communication and collaboration, planning and execution
  • Advocate change by identifying process improvement opportunities and sponsoring change initiatives
  • Build mutual trust and facilitate collaboration among team members, bridging functional silos
  • Take process ownership for all central PM related business processes

Your qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration; MBA
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with setting up/maintaining a PMO Office and developing Project Management programs for large organizations
  • Project management experience in highly complex areas with numerous stakeholders; proficient in corresponding PM methodologies and tools
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge in O365/MS Excel, MS Project Server and Sharepoint
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: project controlling/change management/project analytics/lifecycle management/earned value management (EVM)
  • Strong intercultural and interdisciplinary communication skills; excellent written and verbal English
  • Experience in international collaboration programs and good at building professional networks
  • Able to work under pressure to achieve short-term targets without compromising long-term objectives
  • Capable of handling communication and cooperation with stakeholders over distance
